Ainsi, celui qui veut réjouir les Pitṛ doit faire l’offrande là même. Car de là naît la terre, et dans la terre, en vérité, tout est établi.

It teaches that Pitṛ-satisfaction depends on making the offering at the specifically prescribed place, emphasizing the sacred linkage between the ritual locus (bhūmi) and the ancestors’ contentment.
By framing correct ancestral offerings as an act done with the intent to please (prīti), it aligns dharmic ritual with devotional attitude—reverence and gratitude expressed through prescribed giving.
It highlights Kalpa (ritual procedure): the rule that the dāna/offerings for Pitṛs should be performed at the proper designated location, showing the importance of place (deśa) in śrāddha practice.
