The Description of the Greatness of the Gaṅgā
अंधाञ्जडान्द्रव्यहीनांश्च गंगा संपावयेद्बृहती विश्वरूपा । देवैः सेंद्रैर्मुनिभिर्मानवैश्च निषेविता सर्वकालं समृद्ध्ये ॥ १६ ॥
aṃdhāñjaḍāndravyahīnāṃśca gaṃgā saṃpāvayedbṛhatī viśvarūpā | devaiḥ seṃdrairmunibhirmānavaiśca niṣevitā sarvakālaṃ samṛddhye || 16 ||
La puissante Gaṅgā—immense, de forme universelle—purifie pleinement même les aveugles, les esprits obtus et les pauvres dépourvus de biens. Toujours honorée par les dieux avec Indra, par les sages et par les hommes, elle demeure à jamais une source de prospérité.
