असाधिनीयं कार्यस्य भर्तृपुत्रविनाशिनी । कथं वरं तु गृह्णामि भवतां नाकवासिनाम् ॥ ५० ॥
asādhinīyaṃ kāryasya bhartṛputravināśinī | kathaṃ varaṃ tu gṛhṇāmi bhavatāṃ nākavāsinām || 50 ||
«Cette demande est impossible à accomplir ; elle entraînerait la ruine de mon époux et de mon fils. Comment donc pourrais-je accepter une grâce de vous, ô habitants du ciel ?»
