FAQs

It marks the sacred “Prabodha” time—Viṣṇu’s awakening—highlighting that specific calendrical moments (tithi/māsa transitions) are spiritually charged and often frame key events, vows, and forms of devotion in the Purāṇic narrative.

By centering Viṣṇu as jagadguru and linking devotion to the Prabodha season, it implies that bhakti is strengthened through timely observances and remembrance of Viṣṇu’s līlā and auspicious awakenings.

The verse uses a clear calendrical marker—“end of Āśvina”—reflecting Jyotiṣa-style time-reckoning (māsa/seasonal timing) that guides vrata scheduling and ritual observances in Narada Purana traditions.
