Avec joie, il fit don aux brāhmaṇa de richesses, de vaches et de joyaux ; puis, ayant pris épouse, il se prosterna avec allégresse aux pieds de sa mère et de son père.
Narada (narration within the Uttara-Bhaga context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It presents dharma in action: joyful dāna to worthy recipients (brāhmaṇas) and reverence to parents, showing that inner purity is expressed through generosity and humility.
Bhakti here is expressed as seva and reverence—serving the dharmic order through charity and honoring mother and father, which cultivates gratitude, surrender, and sattva conducive to devotion.
Ritual ethics tied to dharma-śāstra practice are implied: proper dāna (to vipras) and the grihastha framework; no specific Vedanga technique (like Jyotiṣa or Vyākaraṇa) is directly taught in this verse.
