En ce monde, pour celui dont la mère est seule (sans soutien), le père devient le partageur de sa peine. Car si le père est dans la détresse, comment la joie demeurerait-elle dans le cœur du fils ?
Narada (didactic narration within Uttara-Bhaga discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: karuna
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It frames dharma as shared responsibility: a righteous person cannot claim inner peace while a parent suffers—compassion and support for one’s family are treated as a moral and spiritual obligation.
Bhakti is not only worship but also seva and sensitivity; devotion to Bhagavan is reflected in caring for those one is bound to by dharma, especially parents, without selfish pursuit of personal comfort.
No specific Vedanga (like Vyakarana, Jyotisha, or Kalpa) is taught directly; the verse emphasizes niti/dharma—practical ethics that guide a grihastha’s conduct.
