Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It emphasizes total pāpa-kṣaya (eradication of sin) through a purifying act praised in the tīrtha-mahātmya: sin is metaphorically burned to bhasma and eliminated “without remainder.”
By highlighting complete inner purification as the fruit of sacred observance, it supports the bhakti framework where approaching the holy (tīrtha/Deity) with faith leads to cleansing of impurities that obstruct devotion.
Primarily Kalpa (ritual application): it conveys the ritual-theological principle that prescribed purificatory acts yield definitive results, expressed through the technical idea of aśeṣataḥ (total removal) of pāpa.
