Adhyaya 93 — The Goddess’s Boons to Suratha and the Merchant (Conclusion of the Devi Mahatmyam)
वैश्यवर्य त्वया यश्च वरोऽस्मत्तोऽभिवाञ्छितः ।
तं प्रयच्छामि संसिद्ध्यै तव ज्ञानं भविष्यति ॥
vaiśyavarya tvayā yaś ca varo 'smatto 'bhivāñchitaḥ | taṃ prayacchāmi saṃsiddhyai tava jñānaṃ bhaviṣyati ||
«Ô le meilleur des marchands, le don que tu as désiré de moi—je te l’accorde. Pour ton accomplissement total, la connaissance véritable s’éveillera en toi.»
