Adhyaya 88 — The Manifestation of the Matrikas and the Slaying of Raktabija
इत्याज्ञाप्यासुरपतिः शुम्भो भैरवशासनः । निर्जगाम महासैन्यसहस्रैर्बहुभिर्वृतः ॥
ity ājñāpyāsurapatiḥ śumbho bhairavaśāsanaḥ / nirjagāma mahāsainyasahasrair bahubhir vṛtaḥ
Après avoir ainsi donné ses ordres, Śumbha—seigneur des asuras, terrible dans son autorité—se mit en route, entouré de plusieurs milliers de grandes armées.
