Adhyaya 82 — Death of Shumbha
तिष्ठ तिष्ठेति भाषन्तो देवीं अन्ये महासुराः ।
रुधिरौघविलुप्ताङ्गाः संग्रामे लोमहर्षणे ॥
tiṣṭha tiṣṭheti bhāṣanto devīmanye mahāsurāḥ / rudhiraughaviluptāṅgāḥ saṃgrāme lomaharṣaṇe
D’autres grands asuras crièrent à la Déesse : « Tiens bon ! Tiens bon (et combats) ! »—tandis que leurs corps, broyés, étaient emportés par des torrents de sang—au cœur de cette bataille qui faisait se hérisser les cheveux.
