साध्यमानाः क्षमामौनचित्तसंयमिनामुना ।
ता वै भयार्ताः क्रन्दन्ति कथं कार्यमिदं मया ॥
Transliteration
sādhyamānāḥ kṣamāmaunacittasaṃyamināmunā | tā vai bhayārtāḥ krandanti kathaṃ kāryam idaṃ mayā ||
Translation
Ainsi retenus par ce sage—qui pratiquait la patience, le silence et la maîtrise de l’esprit—ils, accablés de peur, s’écrièrent : «Comment accomplirai-je cet acte ?»
