Adhyaya 58 — The Kurma-Form of Narayana: Mapping Bharata through Nakshatras, Regions, and Planetary Afflictions
तथैव शोभनः पाकः दुःस्थितैश्च तथा ग्रहैः ।
अल्पोपकाराय नृणां देशज्ञैश्चात्मनो बुधैः ॥
tathaiva śobhanaḥ pāko duḥ sthitaiśca tathā grahaiḥ / alpopakārāya nṛṇāṃ deśajñaiścātmano budhaiḥ
De même, même un présage favorable (pāka) devient de peu d’utilité pour les hommes lorsque les planètes sont mal disposées—ainsi l’entendent les sages, connaissant les contrées et doués de discernement personnel.
