Adhyaya 48 — The Emanation of Beings from Brahma: Night, Day, Twilight, and the Orders of Creation
तेषां ये यानि कर्माणि प्राक् सृष्टेः प्रतिपेदिरे ।
तान्येव प्रतिपद्यन्ते सृज्यमानाः पुनः पुनः ॥
teṣāṃ ye yāni karmāṇi prāk sṛṣṭeḥ pratipedire | tāny eva pratipadyante sṛjyamānāḥ punaḥ punaḥ ||
Quelles que soient les actions que ces êtres avaient adoptées avant la (précédente) création, ce sont ces mêmes tendances qu’ils reprennent, étant créés de nouveau, encore et encore.
