Adhyaya 46 — Cosmic Dissolution, the Emergence of Brahma, and the Measures of Time (Yugas, Manvantaras, and Brahma’s Day)

Creative power is linked to rajas—initiative and dynamism. The verse frames Brahmā as the archetype of ordered creativity, suggesting that disciplined activity (not chaos) is the proper mode of rajas.
Sarga: explicit emphasis on Brahmā’s creatorship and the rajas basis of manifestation.
The ‘four faces’ can be read as comprehensive cognition—multiple directions/fields of knowledge needed for ordered creation, whether cosmic or personal (projects, disciplines, life-structure).
