Adhyaya 34 — Madālāsā’s Instruction on Sadācāra (Householder Conduct, Purity, and Daily Rites)
न चापि धूनयेत्केशान् वाससी न च धूनयेत् ।
नानुलेपनमादद्यादस्नातः कर्हिचिद्बुधः ॥
na cāpi dhūnayet keśān vāsasī na ca dhūnayet | nānulepanam ādadyād asnātaḥ karhicit budhaḥ ||
On ne doit pas secouer ses cheveux, ni secouer ses vêtements. Le sage, lorsqu’il ne s’est pas encore baigné, ne doit jamais s’enduire d’huiles ni de pâtes/onguents d’onction.
