Adhyaya 29 — Dama and Moksha
स्कन्धे विधाता देवाश्च पितरश्च महर्षयः । श्रेयोऽभिवर्षिणः सर्वे तथैवातिथिबान्धवाः ॥
skandhe vidhātā devāś ca pitaraś ca maharṣayaḥ | śreyo 'bhivarṣiṇaḥ sarve tathaivātithibāndhavāḥ ||
Sur son épaule (reposent) le Créateur, les dieux, les ancêtres et les grands sages—en vérité tous répandent sur lui le bien-être ; de même les hôtes et les parents.
