लक्ष्मीर् लक्ष्मीवतां श्रेष्ठा कण्ठस्था कण्ठभूषणम् ।
अभीष्टबन्धुदारैश्च तथाश्लेषं प्रवासिभिः ॥
lakṣmīr lakṣmīvatāṃ śreṣṭhā kaṇṭhasthā kaṇṭhabhūṣaṇam / abhīṣṭabandhudāraiś ca tathāśleṣaṃ pravāsibhiḥ
«Lakṣmī—la première parmi les fortunés—lorsqu’Elle demeure dans la gorge, accorde des ornements pour le cou ; et Elle accorde aussi la compagnie, l’étreinte des parents aimés et de l’époux/épouse, même à ceux qui furent éloignés par le voyage ou l’exil.»
