वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्युक्त्वा स महाबाहुर्विजजृम्भे जिघांसया । ततः स व्यायतं कृत्वा वेषं विपरिवर्त्य च
vaiśampāyana uvāca: ity uktvā sa mahābāhur vijajṛmbhe jighāṃsayā | tataḥ sa vyāyataṃ kṛtvā veṣaṃ viparivartya ca |
Vaiśampāyana dit : Ayant parlé ainsi, Bhīmasena, aux bras puissants, résolu à tuer Upakīcaka, s’étira d’un bâillement farouche et sembla grandir de toute sa force, comme un guerrier qui s’arme pour la lutte. Puis, s’étant raffermi et ayant changé de déguisement, il se mit en route—prêt à infliger le châtiment juste pour un outrage commis sous le couvert du pouvoir et du désir.
