अहन्यहनि चाप्येवं याचतां सम्प्रदीयते । अन्ये च ब्राह्मणा राजन् भुज्जतेऊन्नं सुसंस्कृतम्
ahany ahani cāpy evaṁ yācatāṁ sampradīyate | anye ca brāhmaṇā rājan bhuñjate annaṁ susaṁskṛtam ||
Śamaṭha dit : «Jour après jour, de la même manière, nourriture et dons étaient accordés à ceux qui venaient mendier. Et, ô roi, d’autres brāhmanes encore y prenaient part à des mets bien apprêtés, cuisinés selon les règles.»
