Daśagrīva-boonāvaraṇa, Viṣṇv-avatāra-niyoga, Vānara-sahāya-janana, Mantharā-nirmāṇa
अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । ब्रीहिद्रोणपरित्यागाद् यत् फलं प्राप मुदूगल:
atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | brīhidroṇaparityāgād yat phalaṃ prāpa mudūgalaḥ ||
Ici encore, les savants invoquent un ancien exemple : pour avoir donné en aumône une seule droṇa de riz, le sage Mudūgala obtint un grand fruit. L’enseignement est que le renoncement sincère et la charité, même modestes en biens, peuvent engendrer un immense mérite spirituel lorsqu’ils sont offerts avec pureté d’intention.
