ऐरावणो<स्मात् सलिल॑ गृहीत्वा जगतो हित: । मेघेष्वामुज्चते शीतं यन्महेन्द्र: प्रवर्षति
airāvaṇo ’smāt salilaṁ gṛhītvā jagato hitaḥ | megheṣv āmuñcate śītaṁ yan mahendraḥ pravarṣati ||
Nārada dit : «Airāvaṇa, pour le bien du monde, puise ici l’eau et place cette eau fraîche dans les nuages ; puis Mahendra (Indra) la fait tomber en pluie sur la terre.»
