कदर्थीकृत्य स मुनिरिषीकाभि: समार्पयत् | उनके भयंकर बाण शत्रुके शरीरको छिल्न-भिन्न कर देनेवाले थे; परंतु मुनिने उन बाणोंका प्रहार करनेवाले दम्भोद्भधवकी कोई परवा न करके सींकोंसे ही उनको बींध डाला

Rāma dit : Après l’avoir accablé d’une humiliation totale, le sage le remit aux ascètes. Les flèches de l’ennemi étaient terribles, capables de déchirer les corps; pourtant le muni, sans se soucier de l’orgueil de Dambhoddhava qui frappait, le transperça avec de simples roseaux, montrant que la puissance spirituelle et la maîtrise de soi rendent vaine la violence brute.
