Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel to Dhṛtarāṣṭra in the Assembly

Educational Q&A

A righteous court must promptly honor spiritually disciplined sages; reverence to wisdom and self-control is a key marker of dharma and legitimate kingship.

Sages arrive and stand at the entrance of the assembly hall; Bhīṣma, seeing them, calls for immediate respectful reception and ceremonial honor.
