कुरुसभायां केशवागमन-सत्कारविधानम् / Preparations to Honor Keśava at the Kuru Court
तस्मिन् ग्रामे प्रधानास्तु य आसन् ब्राह्मणा नृप । आर्या: कुलीना ह्वीमन्तो ब्राद्मीं वृत्तिमनुछिता:,राजन! उस गाँवमें जो प्रमुख ब्राह्मण रहते थे, वे श्रेष्ठ कुलीन, लज्जाशील और ब्राह्मणोचित वृत्तिका पालन करनेवाले थे
tasmin grāme pradhānās tu ya āsan brāhmaṇā nṛpa | āryāḥ kulīnā hrīmanto brāhmīṁ vṛttim anucchitāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Ô roi, dans ce village, les brahmanes les plus éminents qui y demeuraient étaient nobles et de haute naissance, pudiques dans leur conduite, et fermes à maintenir un genre de vie et un moyen d’existence dignes des brahmanes.»
