त॑ सर्वगुणसम्पन्नं श्रीवत्सकृतलक्षणम् । सम्परिष्वज्य कौन्तेय: संदेष्टमुपचक्रमे,उन्हीं सर्वगुणसम्पन्न श्रीवत्सचिह्लसे विभूषित भगवान् श्रीकृष्णको हृदयसे लगाकर कुन्तीकुमार युधिष्ठिरने निम्नांकित संदेश देना आरम्भ किया
taṁ sarvaguṇasampannaṁ śrīvatsakṛtalakṣaṇam | sampariṣvajya kaunteyaḥ sandeṣṭum upacakrame ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Enlaçant le Seigneur Kṛṣṇa—comblé de toutes les qualités et portant le signe du Śrīvatsa—Yudhiṣṭhira, fils de Kuntī, commença à délivrer le message confié.
