Udyoga Parva, Adhyāya 73 — Kr̥ṣṇa’s Appraisal of Bhīma’s Altered Temper and Reaffirmation of Martial Resolve
Even in the face of looming conflict, one should first employ respectful counsel and collective moral authority—especially elders and the court—to restore harmony and restrain anger, aiming at peace among kin.
Bhima urges Krishna, acting as mediator, to speak to the venerable Bhishma and other court elders so they will intervene effectively, preserve brotherly goodwill, and calm Duryodhana before the dispute escalates into war.
