Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 50 — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Bhīmasena (भीमसेनभयवर्णनम्)
Ignoring righteous counsel leads to predictable calamity: Dhṛtarāṣṭra recognizes that Vidura’s earlier moral warning about the ruinous consequences of opposing the Pāṇḍavas has now materialized, highlighting responsibility and the ethical cost of choosing war.
As tensions move toward open conflict, Dhṛtarāṣṭra expresses sorrow for those on his side who are determined to fight the Pāṇḍavas, acknowledging that the feared outcome—previously announced by Vidura—has arrived.
