Speech and counsel should be both dharmically appropriate and practically effective; well-grounded advice is praised because it can accomplish rightful aims even in tense political circumstances.
Vāyudeva endorses a proposal attributed to a Somaka champion (contextually linked with Drupada/Pañcāla), affirming that the counsel is suitable and will help the powerful Pāṇḍava king (Yudhiṣṭhira) achieve his intended objective as alliances and war preparations intensify.
