ययोश्षित्तेन वा चित्तं निभृतं निभृतेन वा । समेति प्रज्ञया प्रज्ञा तयोमैत्री न जीय॑ति,जिन दो मनुष्योंका चित्तसे चित्र, गुप्त रहस्यसे गुप्त रहस्य और बुद्धिसे बुद्धि मिल जाती है, उनकी मित्रता कभी नष्ट नहीं होती
yayōḥ cittēna vā cittaṁ nibhṛtaṁ nibhṛtēna vā | samēti prajñayā prajñā tayōḥ maitrī na jīyati ||
Vidura dit : Lorsque l’esprit de deux personnes se rejoint par l’esprit—lorsque les confidences gardées répondent aux confidences gardées, et que l’intelligence résonne avec l’intelligence—alors leur amitié ne se flétrit pas. Une telle harmonie d’intention intérieure et de sagesse rend leur lien durable et difficile à rompre.
