ईदृशो<यं केशवस्तात विद्वान्‌ विद्धि होन॑ कर्मणां निश्चयज्ञम्‌ । प्रियश्ष नः साधुतमश्च कृष्णो नातिक्रामे वचनं केशवस्य,तात संजय! तुम्हें मालूम होना चाहिये कि भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण ऐसे प्रभावशाली और विद्वान हैं। ये प्रत्येक कर्मका अन्तिम परिणाम जानते हैं। ये हमारे सबसे बढ़कर प्रिय तथा श्रेष्ठतम पुरुष हैं। मैं इनकी आज्ञाका उल्लंघन नहीं कर सकता

īdṛśo ’yaṃ keśavas tāta vidvān viddhi ha karmaṇāṃ niścayajñam | priyaś ca naḥ sādhutamaś ca kṛṣṇo nātikrāme vacanaṃ keśavasya ||

Yudhiṣṭhira dit : «Sache, cher ami, que Kṛṣṇa—Keśava—est d’une puissance et d’une sagesse véritables. Il connaît l’issue ultime et la conclusion certaine des actes. Il nous est le plus cher et le plus noble des hommes. Je ne puis outrepasser ni mépriser la parole de Keśava.»
