ततः सम्प्रेषषामास मित्राणाममितौजसाम् | दुहितुर्विप्रलम्भं तं धात्रीणां वचनात् तदा,तदनन्तर राजाने धायोंके कथनानुसार अपनी कन्याको द्रुपदके द्वारा धोखा दिये जानेका समाचार अमिततेजस्वी मित्र राजाओंके पास भेजा
tataḥ sampreṣayāmāsa mitrāṇām amitaujasām | duhitṛ-vipralambhaṃ taṃ dhātrīṇāṃ vacanāt tadā ||
Alors, se fondant sur le rapport des nourrices, il dépêcha des messages à ses rois alliés, puissants et influents, leur annonçant que sa fille avait été trompée et outragée par Drupada.
भीष्म उवाच
A violation of trust—especially involving family and marriage—has ethical weight (dharma) and also public consequences: rulers must respond, and private wrongs can rapidly become political crises through alliances and reputation.
Bhishma narrates that, after hearing from the nursemaids, the concerned party sends word to powerful allied kings that Drupada has deceived his daughter, thereby mobilizing support and setting the stage for broader confrontation.
