Ambā’s Vow of Tapas after Paraśurāma’s Assessment (अम्बाया तपोव्रतनिश्चयः)

भीष्म उवाच भार्या तु तस्य राजेन्द्र द्रपदस्य महीपते: । महिषी दयिता हायासीदपुत्रा च विशाम्पते,भीष्मने कहा--प्रजापालक राजेन्द्र! राजा ट्रुपदकी प्यारी पटरानीके कोई पुत्र नहीं था

bhīṣma uvāca bhāryā tu tasya rājendra drupadasya mahīpateḥ | mahiṣī dayitā hy āsīd aputrā ca viśāmpate ||

Bhīṣma dit : « Ô roi, l’épouse bien-aimée, reine principale de ce souverain Drupada, n’avait point de fils ; elle demeura sans descendance, ô seigneur des peuples. »
