Bhishma and Rama: Restraint and Withdrawal in the Engagement
यथोक्तमेव कल्याणि सर्वमेतद् भविष्यति । भविष्यसि पुमान् पश्चात् कस्माच्चित्कालपर्ययात्
yathoktam eva kalyāṇi sarvam etad bhaviṣyati | bhaviṣyasi pumān paścāt kasmāc cit kāla-paryayāt ||
« Ô toi qui es de bon augure, tout cela adviendra exactement comme je l’ai dit. Tu naîtras d’abord sous la forme d’une jeune fille ; puis, après le cours d’un certain temps, tu deviendras un homme. »
