Educational Q&A

As a colophon, the verse does not teach through direct instruction but signals closure: it frames the Paraśurāma–Bhīṣma conflict as an ethically charged episode where vows, honor, and duty can collide, reminding readers that even dharmic agents may enter tragic contention when obligations are incompatible.

The text announces the completion of Chapter 182 in the Udyoga Parva, within the Ambopākhyāna episode, specifically the portion describing the battle between Paraśurāma and Bhīṣma.
