अयं चापि विशुद्धात्मन्‌ पुराणे श्रूयते विभो । मरुत्तेन महाबुद्धे गीत: श्लोको महात्मना

Transliteration

ayaṃ cāpi viśuddhātman purāṇe śrūyate vibho | maruttena mahābuddhe gītaḥ śloko mahātmanā |

Translation

Ô toi à l’âme pure, ô seigneur puissant — ceci aussi se rapporte dans la tradition des Purāṇa : un vers chanté par le magnanime Marutta, ô Rāma à la sagesse souveraine. Il enseigne que si même un guru, enflé d’orgueil, perd le discernement du devoir et du non-devoir et s’engage sur une voie dévoyée, il doit être abandonné.
