Droṇa–Vidura–Gāndhārī Counsel in the Royal Assembly (धर्मार्थयुक्ता सभा-उपदेश-प्रकरणम्)
“राजन! सत्यवतीके गर्भसे कुरुकुलका भार वहन करनेवाले धर्मात्मा महाबाहु श्रीमान् विचित्रवीर्य उत्पन्न हुए, जो मेरे छोटे भाई थे
rājan! satyavatyāṃ garbhase kurukulakā bhāra-vahanaṃ kurvantaḥ dharmātmā mahābāhuḥ śrīmān vicitravīrya utpannāḥ, yo me laghu-bhrātā āsīt.
Vāyu dit : «Ô roi ! Du sein de Satyavatī naquit l’illustre Vichitravīrya — d’âme droite et aux bras puissants — qui porta le fardeau de la lignée des Kuru. Il était mon cadet.»
