अभिषिक्तस्य कौन्तेयो धारयिष्यति मूर्थनि | इसी प्रकार पाँचों भाई पुरुषसिंह पाण्डव
abhīṣiktasya kaunteyo dhārayiṣyati mūrdhani | iti prakāraṁ pāṇḍavāḥ pañca bhrātaraḥ puruṣasiṁhāḥ, draupadyāḥ pañca putrāḥ, pāñcāla-cedi-deśayoḥ nṛpāś ca, aham ca—ete sarve tvāṁ pṛthivīpālaka-sāmrājya-pade ’bhiṣiñcayiṣyāmaḥ | dharmavratadharaḥ dharmātmā kuntīnandanaḥ rājā yudhiṣṭhiraḥ tava yuvārājaḥ bhaviṣyati, yaḥ śveta-cāmaraṁ haste gṛhītvā tava pṛṣṭhataḥ rathe niṣaṇṇaḥ syāt | mahābalī kuntīkumāraḥ bhīmasenaḥ rājābhiṣekānantarāt tava mastake mahān śveta-chatraṁ dhārayiṣyati || kiḍkiṇī-śata-nirghoṣaṁ vaiyāghra-parivāraṇaṁ śveta-aśva-yuktaṁ tava rathaṁ arjunaḥ sārathitvena vāhayiṣyati, abhimanyuś ca sadā tava sevārthaṁ samīpe tiṣṭhati |
Vāyu-deva dit : «Quand tu auras reçu la consécration, le fils de Kuntī portera sur sa tête les insignes royaux. Ainsi, les cinq frères Pāṇḍava—lions parmi les hommes—avec les cinq fils de Draupadī, les rois de Pāñcāla et de Cedi, et moi aussi, nous t’oindrons au rang de souverain protecteur de la terre. Le vertueux Yudhiṣṭhira, fils du Dharma, à l’âme droite et ferme dans ses vœux austères, sera ton prince héritier ; assis derrière toi sur le char, il te servira en tenant un éventail blanc de cāmara. Après le couronnement, le très puissant Bhīmasena, fils de Kuntī, tiendra au-dessus de ta tête le grand parasol blanc. Arjuna conduira ton char comme cocher—char couvert d’une peau de tigre, attelé de chevaux blancs, et vibrant du doux tintement de centaines de petites clochettes—tandis qu’Abhimanyu se tiendra toujours tout près, prêt à te servir.»
