पश्यतां कुरुवीराणां तच्च संस्मारये: पुनः । जुएके समय द्रौपदीको जो सभामें जाना पड़ा और कौरव वीरोंके सामने ही दुर्योधन और दु:शासनने जो उसे गालियाँ दीं, वह सब भीमसेन और अर्जुनका ही तिरस्कार है। मैं पुन: उसकी याद दिला देती हूँ

paśyatāṃ kuru-vīrāṇāṃ tac ca saṃsmārayeyaḥ punaḥ | yatraika-samaye draupadī sabhāṃ gantum avāryatā, tatra kaurava-vīrāṇāṃ samakṣaṃ duryodhana-duḥśāsanābhyāṃ yā nindā-kṣepā uktāḥ, tad bhīmasenārjunayor eva tiraskāraḥ | ahaṃ punaḥ tasyāḥ smṛtiṃ teṣāṃ prati nidadhāmi ||

Sous les yeux mêmes des héros des Kuru, je te le rappellerai encore. Il fut un temps où Draupadī fut contrainte d’entrer dans l’assemblée royale; et devant les guerriers kaurava eux-mêmes, Duryodhana et Duḥśāsana l’accablèrent d’injures. Cet outrage fut, en vérité, une humiliation pour Bhīmasena et Arjuna aussi. C’est pourquoi je ravive une fois de plus ce souvenir.
