ते त्वां प्रियं करिष्यन्ति पुरो धास्यन्ति च ध्रुवम् । तू उन्हें अग्रिम वेतन दे दिया कर। प्रतिदिन प्रातःकाल सोकर उठ जा और सबके साथ प्रिय वचन बोल। ऐसा करनेसे वे अवश्य तेरा प्रिय करेंगे और निश्चय ही तुझे अपना अगुआ बना लेंगे
te tvāṃ priyaṃ kariṣyanti puro dhāsyanti ca dhruvam |
Ils te chériront à coup sûr, et te placeront assurément au premier rang comme leur chef. Donne-leur donc leur solde d’avance au moment opportun ; chaque matin, au réveil, adresse à tous des paroles bienveillantes. En agissant ainsi, ils t’aimeront sans faute et, certainement, t’élèveront comme leur guide.
