शल्य उवाच ततस्तेन तथोक्ते तु प्रीता देवास्तथाब्रुवन् । ब्रह्मन् साथ्विवमुक्त ते हितं सर्वदिवौकसाम्,शल्य कहते हैं--राजन्! उनके इस प्रकार सलाह देनेपर देवता बड़े प्रसन्न हुए और इस प्रकार बोले--'ब्रह्मनन्! आपने बहुत अच्छी बात कही है। इसीमें सम्पूर्ण देवताओंका हित है
śalya uvāca | tatastena tathokte tu prītā devās tathābruvan | brahman sādhv idam ukta te hitaṃ sarvadivaukasām |
Śalya dit : « Alors, lorsqu’il eut parlé ainsi, les dieux furent satisfaits et répondirent : “Ô brahmane, ce que tu as dit est véritablement excellent. En cela réside le bien de tous les habitants du ciel.” »
