Haryaśva’s Agreement with Gālava and the Birth of Vasumanā
Nārada’s narration
प्रतिगृह्य च तां कन््यां गालव: सह पक्षिणा । पुनर्द्रक्ष्याव इत्युक्त्वा प्रतस्थे सह कन््यया
pratigṛhya ca tāṁ kanyāṁ gālavaḥ saha pakṣiṇā | punardrakṣyāva ity uktvā pratasthē saha kanyayā ||
Après avoir accepté la jeune fille, Gālava—avec l’oiseau—se mit en route en lui disant : « Nous nous reverrons », puis il partit avec elle.
