Śāṇḍilī–Suparṇa Saṃvāda
Conduct, Intention, and Restoration
शनै: स तु भवान् यातु ब्रह्म॒वध्यामनुस्मरन् । न दृश्यते रविस्तात न दिशो न च खं खग
śanaiḥ sa tu bhavān yātu brahmavadhyām anusmaran | na dṛśyate ravis tāta na diśo na ca khaṃ khaga |
Gālava dit : «Va lentement, en gardant à l’esprit le danger d’encourir la brahma-hatyā (le péché d’avoir tué un brāhmane). À présent, cher ami, le soleil n’est pas visible ; les directions ne se discernent plus, et même le ciel ne se voit pas, ô oiseau.»
