Nahuṣa Abhiṣeka and the Crisis of Restraint (नहुषाभिषेकः—दमभ्रंशः)
न भेतव्यं च नहुषात् सत्यमेतद् ब्रवीमि ते । समानयिष्ये शक्रेण न चिराद् भवतीमहम्
na bhetavyaṃ ca nahuṣāt satyam etad bravīmi te | samānayiṣye śakreṇa na cirād bhavatīm aham ||
«Ne crains pas Nahuṣa. Je te le dis en vérité : d’ici peu, moi-même je te réunirai à Śakra (Indra).»
शल्य उवाच
Fear should not override dharma: one should stand on truth (satya) and confidence in rightful restoration, especially when facing coercion or illegitimate power.
The speaker reassures the addressed woman not to fear Nahusha and promises that he will soon reunite her with Śakra (Indra), indicating imminent resolution of the crisis.
