गालवस्य विषादः तथा विष्णुप्रयाणम्
Gālava’s Despair and Resolve to Seek Viṣṇu
अत्राप्युदाहरन्तीममितिहासं पुरातनम् । यथा निर्बन्धत: प्राप्तो गालवेन पराजय:
atrāpy udāharantīmam itihāsaṃ purātanam | yathā nirbandhataḥ prāpto gālavena parājayaḥ ||
Ici encore, l’on rapporte un antique récit : comment, par pure obstination et persistance inflexible, la défaite s’abattit sur Gālava. Ce vers est un avertissement moral : qui s’attache avec entêtement à une exigence ou à une voie, même l’homme capable peut être poussé à l’échec par la contrainte même qu’il s’impose.
