Gālava’s Despair and Resolve to Seek Viṣṇu

Educational Q&A

Even the virtuous can be provoked by repeated, insistent demands; therefore one should practice restraint in asking, and teachers may set boundaries through firm speech to uphold propriety (dharma).

Nārada narrates that Gālava repeatedly presses the sage Viśvāmitra; slightly irritated, Viśvāmitra responds and begins to state what follows.
