Rasātala Description: Surabhi, Phenapāḥ, and the Directional Cows
नामानि चैषां वक्ष्यामि यथा प्राधान्यत: शृणु । मातले श्लाघ्यमेतद्धि कुलं विष्णुपरिग्रहम्,मातले! अब मैं इनके कुछ प्रधान व्यक्तियोंके नाम बताऊँगा, तुम श्रवण करो। इनका कुल भगवान् विष्णुका पार्षद होनेके कारण प्रशंसनीय है
nāmāni caiṣāṃ vakṣyāmi yathā prādhānyataḥ śṛṇu | mātale ślāghyam etad dhi kulaṃ viṣṇuparigraham ||
Nārada said: “I shall now tell you the names of the foremost among them—listen in due order, O Mātali. Indeed, this lineage is worthy of praise, for it stands under the protection and patronage of Lord Viṣṇu.”
