Rasātala Description: Surabhi, Phenapāḥ, and the Directional Cows
Discernment and right guidance: when a path or option does not resonate with one’s rightful aim, a wise guide redirects the seeker toward a more fitting opportunity—suggesting that boons (rewards) are connected to appropriate places, actions, and readiness.
Nārada is guiding Mātali during the episode of searching for boons. Seeing that Mātali has no interest in the options already presented, Nārada proposes moving to another place where Mātali is assured of receiving some boon.
