तृतीयं पारणं प्राप्प द्वादशाहफलं लभेत् । वसत्यमरसंकाशो वर्षाण्ययुतशो दिवि
tṛtīyaṃ pāraṇaṃ prāpya dvādaśāhaphalaṃ labhet | vasaty amarasaṅkāśo varṣāṇy ayutaśo divi ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : «Ayant accompli la troisième observance (pāraṇa), l’homme obtient un mérite égal à celui d’un sacrifice de douze jours. Rayonnant comme les Immortels, il demeure au ciel durant des dizaines de milliers d’années.»
