Indra and Dharma’s Consolation; Celestial Gaṅgā Purification
साध्या रुद्रास्तथा55दित्या ये चान्येडपि दिवौकस: । सर्वे तत्र समाजग्मु: सिद्धाश्व॒ परमर्षय:
sādhyā rudrās tathā ādityā ye cānye 'pi divaukasaḥ | sarve tatra samājagmuḥ siddhāś ca paramarṣayaḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana dit : Les Sādhyas, les Rudras, les Ādityas, et aussi les autres êtres célestes—tous s’assemblèrent en ce lieu ; et les Siddhas également, avec les rishis suprêmes. La scène marque un moment où le cosmos devient témoin : les plus hauts ordres d’êtres se réunissent pour voir et consacrer l’aboutissement moral et spirituel du récit.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
That the culmination of a dharmic life is not merely personal but cosmic in significance: the highest celestial and perfected beings gather as witnesses, implying that moral and spiritual outcomes are recognized and affirmed by the larger order of the universe.
A great celestial assembly forms: the Sādhyas, Rudras, Ādityas, other heaven-dwellers, Siddhas, and supreme seers all come together at that place, indicating an extraordinary moment connected with the final ascent and resolution of the epic’s events.
