Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 2 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry for His Kin and the Vision of a Punitive Realm
संतिष्ठस्व महाबाहो मुहूर्तमपि भारत । त्वयि तिष्ठति कौरव्य यातनास्मान् न बाधते,“महाबाहु भरतनन्दन! हो सके तो दो घड़ी भी ठहर जाइये | कुरुनन्दन! आपके रहनेसे यहाँकी यातना हमें कष्ट नहीं दे रही है”
saṃtiṣṭhasva mahābāho muhūrtam api bhārata | tvayi tiṣṭhati kauravya yātanāsmān na bādhate ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana dit : «Ô toi aux bras puissants, ô Bhārata, demeure — ne fût-ce qu’un instant. Ô Kauravya, tant que tu restes ici, le supplice de ce lieu ne nous accable pas.»
